Welcome to King’s Custom Designs, where we turn your ideas into reality! Our company was founded by Reyes and Jessica in 2019, but our journey began many years ago.
Reyes and Jessica met in 1997 and quickly fell in love. In May 2001, they moved into their brand new home and were married the following month. But their life together was far from ordinary – Jessica was a member of the Alaska Air National Guard and was notified in September 2001 that she would be activated at any time. Despite the challenges of military life, Reyes and Jessica continued to grow their love and their family. In September 2002, they welcomed their daughter Elliana into the world.
In 2005, Reyes started learning woodworking and created his first jewelry box – unfortunately, he made it in the kitchen as they didn’t have a shop! But despite some initial setbacks, Reyes continued to hone his woodworking skills and became an early adopter of 3D printing and scanning. By 2016, he had purchased a CNC router and was creating custom products for friends and family.
In 2019, Reyes and Jessica opened King’s Hardwood Supply, which quickly became the only local hardwood supply store focusing on domestic hardwood lumber. And in 2022, they invested in an open architecture laser engraver, which allowed them to customize everything from steel tumblers to large granite monuments.
Now, in 2023, Reyes and Jessica are proud to introduce their latest venture: King’s Custom Designs. Our company specializes in the customization of almost anything – from home decor to personal accessories. We use the latest technology and woodworking techniques to bring your ideas to life.
